What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga therapy takes a gentle, holistic approach to restore and recover. It sees each person as a whole—not just a body with symptoms, but someone with thoughts, emotions, a life story, and unique experiences. That’s why this work is never one-size-fits-all. It’s meant to support and complement whatever path you’re already on.

- Your First Session: A Conversation to Begin

Our first meeting is all about getting to know you—your story, your body, your needs. You’ll be invited to a 90-minute free intake, so I can better understand your current health, your history, and how you’ve experienced it all. From there, I’ll create a personalized yoga therapy plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. 

- What We Explore Together

In a series of at least five sessions, we gently explore which tools work best for you—tools that not only support your healing but also bring you joy and energy.

Some of these may include:

  • Mindful movement and conscious breathing

  • Deep relaxation practices and techniques

  • Stretching and/or strengthening your muscles

All of these are designed to create space in your body and send your brain a message that you are safe—that it's okay to slow down and rest.

When your nervous system feels supported and calm, you begin to regain clarity, emotional balance, and a sense of ease within yourself.

- A Safe Space to Begin

If you’re curious, I warmly invite you to reach out for a free intake session. This first meeting is also a chance to see if we feel a natural connection—because your sense of comfort and trust matters deeply. When that’s in place, true healing can begin to unfold.

- 初談:從傾聽你開始

第一次的會面是一段互相認識的過程,我會傾聽你的故事,了解你的身體與內在需求, 幫助我更完整地理解你的健康狀況、生命歷程,以及你對這些經驗的感受。

這次初談大約會需要 90 分鐘,依照每個人的情況有所不同。之後,我會根據你的問題與期待,設計出一份專屬的瑜伽療癒方案。

 

- 我們一起探索

在後續至少五次的課程中,我會溫和地探索出最適合你的練習方式—那些能真正幫助你、讓你感到喜悅與充滿能量的方法。

這些可能包含:

  • 有意識的身體動作與呼吸練習

  • 深層放鬆引導

  • 肌肉的伸展與強化​

這些練習的目的是為你的身體創造空間,並讓大腦收到訊號:你是安全的,可以放鬆下來、好好休息。

當神經系統獲得支持與安撫後,你會重新找回情緒的穩定與清晰,並更自在地與自己相處。
